Giga-Com is a specialist manufacturer of microwave links designed to meet the requirements of digital television broadcasters and related security and government markets.
Primarily focused on MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 compressed video transmission in both HD and SD formats, we are also able to provide systems for virtually any broadband data transmission requirement, such as high quality digital audio as required for radio broadcasting or encrypted data for secure government communications.
Products include compact ENG type microwave links, outside broadcast (EFP) type microwave links and fixed rack mounted microwave links and we cater for all frequency bands from 1GHz to 23GHz.
In addition to the basic microwave link our extensive range of accessories includes ENG antennas of all types, motorised antenna positioners with the latest auto pointing capability and purpose built tripods designed for lightest possible weight but rugged enough for extended outdoor use in the harshest conditions
